MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) is the value gained by controlling, influencing, or reacting to transaction ordering and execution within a market or shared system. In blockchains, it usually comes from choosing which transactions are included, excluded, delayed, or reordered.
Agentic MEV extends this idea to autonomous agents. It is the value created, transferred, or extracted when agents compete over scarce information, access, routing, shared state, or execution priority. It includes both the new extraction opportunities created by agent systems and the mechanisms needed to govern them, such as confidential routing, credible commitments, contested-state resolution, and auditable execution.
